Registration Success!

Dear Michigan Wheat Program Summer Field Day attendee:

Thank you for your registration for the Michigan Wheat Program (MWP) Wheat Field Day on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the MSU Saginaw Valley Research & Extension Center, 3775 S. Reese Rd., Frankenmuth.  We can’t wait to see you!

Field day attendees: Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8:15 a.m. with the wagons heading out for the morning field day tour at 9 a.m. After a morning of field tours, we will head back to the building for lunch.

After lunch there will be a short marketing presentation to give you a “heads up” about what’s going on with these commodity markets. The day will wrap up with some harvest comments from Dennis Pennington, MSU Wheat Specialist, and the awarding to our attendees of RUP and CCA credits, which have both been applied for.

As the event gets closer, an updated agenda will be posted on our website (miwheat.org), as will the number of CCA and RUP credits to be awarded. So, please check back! If you would like the RUP credits, you should have included your applicator number during registration. (If you forgot, please email me separately at jody@miwheat.org.)  You will need to pick up your nametag at registration to “check-in” for your credits.

If you need lodging the night before the Field Day, there are many options in Frankenmuth. To learn more click here: https://www.frankenmuth.org/lodging.

Registration is open through June 23, so feel free to share information about the meeting with others. They can register on-line at www.miwheat.org or they can call me at 1-888-WHEAT01.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me. We’ll see you soon!

Sincerely,

Jody E. Pollok-Newsom
