Dear YEN Kentucky Wrap Up Meeting Participant:
Thank you for registering for the Kentucky meeting scheduled for Monday, February 3, 2025. The meeting will begin with lunch at 12:00 noon at the Christian County Cooperative Extension Office located at 2850 Pembroke Rd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
When you arrive on-site at the meeting, you will need to check-in, which begins at 11:30 a.m. The Great Lakes YEN meetings are usually kept very closed and only participating growers, their agronomists and a couple of other key participants may be allowed to attend. For this first year of the Kentucky US Great Lakes YEN Wrap Up meeting, it is open to those who might be interested in YEN and want to learn more.
Our goal of the meeting is to take a deep dive into the data discovered through our past four years of the Great Lakes Yield Enhancement Network. You may want to bring your YEN report with you to reference. There will be some presentations, but also a lot of time for conversations and idea sharing. We will begin the meeting with lunch at 12:00 noon. We are planning to wrap up about 5:00 p.m. depending upon the discussion.

The Michigan Wheat Program is a state-check off program voted in by the state’s wheat farmers to assess each bushel of wheat grown and sold. The funds from the program are utilized to further the wheat industry in the state benefitting the state’s nearly 8,000 wheat farmers who grow about 450,000 acres of wheat annually producing about a 40 million bushel crop.
