Thank you for your registration for the Michigan Wheat Program (MWP) Wheat Field Day on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the MSU Saginaw Valley Research & Extension Center, 3775 S. Reese Rd., Frankenmuth. We can’t wait to see you!
Field day attendees: Registration and breakfast begin at 8:15 a.m. with the wagons heading out for the morning field day tour at 9 a.m. After a morning of field tours, we will head back to the building for lunch.
After lunch there will be some updates and announcements. The day will wrap up with some harvest comments from Dennis Pennington, MSU Wheat Specialist, and the awarding to our attendees of 2-1A private core RUP and 3 CCA Credits. They will be handled at the end of the day about 2:30 p.m.
As the event gets closer, an updated agenda may be posted on our website (miwheat.org). So, please check back! If you would like the RUP credits, you will need to pick up your nametag at registration to “check-in” for your credits and take the survey at the end of the event for them to be awarded.
If you need lodging the night before the Field Day, there are many options in Frankenmuth. To learn more click here: https://www.frankenmuth.org/lodging.
Pre-registration is open through June 12, so feel free to share information about the meeting with others. They can register on-line at www.miwheat.org or they can call me at 1-888-WHEAT01. After June 12, anyone interested in attending may show up and register on-site.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me. We’ll see you soon!
Sincerely,
Jody E. Pollok-Newsom
