Registration Success!

Dear YEN US Wrap Up Michigan Meeting Participant:

Thank you for registering for the US Michigan meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Our meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Saginaw Valley Research & Extension Center located at 3775 S. Reese Road, Frankenmuth, MI.

When you arrive on-site at the meeting, you will need to check-in which begins at 8:30 a.m. to enter the meeting. The Great Lakes YEN meetings are kept very closed and only participating growers, their agronomists and a couple of other key participants may be allowed to attend.

Our goal is to take a deep dive into the data discovered through our past five years during this meeting. There will be some presentations, but also a lot of time for conversations and idea sharing. We will begin the meeting at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be brought in at 11:50 a.m. We are planning to wrap up about 4:00 p.m. depending upon the discussion.

You may want to come early for the Michigan Wheat Program Annual Meeting which is scheduled for the day prior, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, also at the Saginaw Valley Research & Extension Center. The agenda and registration for that program, which is free for all growers and ag business representatives, is on the Michigan Wheat Program website at www.miwheat.org under the sign-up section. Click on the annual meeting to see the agenda at the top of the registration page.

If you are planning to attend the annual meeting or plan to arrive the night prior to the wrap up meeting, you will want to book a room. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover the costs of overnight rooms, so those are on your own. There are several options in Frankenmuth. Visit the Chamber of Commerce for a listing of room options : lodging.frankenmuth.org/results/?Checkin=2026-01-02&Checkout=2026-01-04

If you are planning to participate virtually, we will send out the link information the Monday prior to the event.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact either Jody Pollok-Newsom at jody@miwheat.org or via cell at 517-490-0280 or Dennis Pennington via email at pennin34@msu.edu or via cell at 269-832-0497.

Thank you for your dedication to YEN and wheat production! We look forward to outstanding discussion during our wrap up meeting! See you February 18!
