Registration Success!

Dear Michigan Wheat Program Field Day Attendee:

Thanks for registering for the Michigan Wheat Program’s Summer Field Day, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023!  We will see you at the MSU Plant Pathology Research Center, 3735 N. College Road, Lansing, MI  48910.  (See map below or click here to download a PDF of map)

You can expect a breakfast of baked goods, fruit and coffee beginning at 8:15 a.m.  Be sure to bring along any wheat samples you have for diagnosis of disease or injury, as Dr. Jan Byrne from MSU’s Plant Diagnostics Lab will be on hand to receive them during lunch and prior to the meeting.

At 9 a.m. sharp, our wagons will load and the program begins with plot tours of six areas of wheat research and the MSU experts to discuss them.  We’ll be back in time for a free lunch!   We’ll have on hand the necessary paperwork for you to receive RUP or CCA credits, if you’re interested.

NEW!  This year we’re adding an afternoon walking tour and program at the Mason Research Farm, which has lots of plots and trials.  You will be driving your personal vehicles and parking on-site, so that you may depart immediately afterwards.  The address is: 1614 Okemos Road, Mason, MI 48854.

Look at the full event agenda to see all of the topics we have scheduled for the day. It is a whirlwind of wheat wisdom.

Registration is still open so tell your friends!  Feel free to share information about the 2023 Summer Field Day with others.  We ask everyone to register ahead of time so we have an accurate count for meals, wagons and handouts.

If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at jody@miwheat.org or via phone at 1-888-WHEAT O1 (943-2801).  We look forward to seeing you in Lansing on Wednesday, June 14!
